Inspired by
Cushendall Killings at Saoirse32, and with further research at
Reggie Dunne - An Irish Hero, I have finally updated the
Republican Prisoner Roll of Honor to add Reggie Dunne and Joseph O'Sullivan. They were hanged at Wandsworth Jail in August 1922 for the killing of Sir Henry Wilson a couple of months earlier.
There's a bit of confusion between the two sites. The first site says that the Cushendall killings were in retaliation for the Wilson killing, while the second says that they happened prior to the Wilson killing. Unless they're talking about a different case of three unarmed men being killed by the RIC, which certainly could have happened during those days. Other research indicates that the Cushendall killings were in retaliation for the Wilson killing, so the Reggie Dunne entry is either mistaken or referring to a different killing.
